This MINDS Group lecture begins with an overview of the dynamic of eating reflexes based on the sucking pattern and utilizing MNRI® tools to improve oral-motor coordination for vocalization and primitive articulation. The physiology of hypoxia and anoxia and brain oxygen deprivation are explored, as are MNRI® for the development of eating reflexes and abilities in children with neurodeficits, and MNRI® for self-feeding skills.
