The Masgutova Method®/MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) uses reflex patterns to awake the genetic sensory-motor memory to make it faster and easier for the nervous system to self-restore the impaired functions. This can include- movement of the body (inability to walk, poor function), functions of vision (poor eye tracking and ocular vestibular abilities), hearing (poor decoding of words affecting comprehension), focusing, memory recall, thinking processes, emotional and behavioral regulation and more. MNRI Philosophy/Why We Do What We Do
In normal development, the body and mind are beautifully complex and coherent. When the brain and the nervous system are impaired or damaged by stress (trauma, illness, tragedy, etc.), dysfunctions emerge- post trauma, learning challenges, developmental impairments, and more. These dysfunctions limit our potential, making our life and ability to learn more difficult.
Within this complexity, our bodies and minds have developed incredible abilities to both restore and learn. With proper knowledge, tools and commitment, we see faster and more productive neurological and physical improvements.
Our unique MNRI process, “The Missing Link” as professionals call it, has been developed over the last 30 years, verified by scientific and clinical research and life-proven results.
Why Should I Choose MNRI?
Our research-based MNRI Method is built on science and reproducible success. There are two pathways of perception of the external world- classic (cortical or consciously controlled) and sub-cortical (natural, spontaneous, reflexive response). A child and an adult in stress automatically use their sub-cortical brain and its survival mechanisms.
Currently, the majority of methods use a cortical approach and thereby limit the therapeutic outcome and effects. In contrast, our new sub-cortical approach of reflex integration allows the problem to be addressed at its level of cause bringing natural recovery and neuromodulation.
Furthermore, our Method is designed to teach individuals from all backgrounds how to effectively work with learning challenges and neurological deficits. View the peer-reviewed science behind it.
What kind of developmental challenges does MNRI address?
The MNRI® Program has been demonstrated as highly effective in the support of individuals with neurotypical development willing to get support in reaching their goals (sports, learning, competition, business, etc.). We have also seen highly significant results in work done with children and adults with neuro deficits and challenges in learning, particularly with-
Cerebral palsy
Autism
Dyspraxia - delay in motor development and speech
Delay in cognitive and intellectual development
Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD, ADHD)
PTSD
Epilepsy
Emotional disorders
Speech disorders
ADD and ADHD and other attention disorders
Specific Learning Disorder - Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia
Speech development disabilities
Genetic disorders
FAS – Fetal alcohol Syndrome
Other deficits
What are Primitive Reflexes?
Reflexes are developed and integrated in utero, coming through the birth canal and at different stages in early development. They occur naturally and in a certain pattern so that they build on each other to form a solid foundation for future development. In some cases, such as children with special needs or a traumatic brain injury, these reflexes are disrupted or not integrated in the proper order to establish this firm foundation. The Masgutova Method actually goes back to the basics and re-patterns the brain from the base level. This Method establishes the actual pattern that typical children develop on their own.
the MNRI Method recognizes the underlying causes, isolates the impacted primary motor reflexes, and targets the neuro sensorimotor dysfunction related to the impacted reflexes with MNRI restorative techniques to reduce or eliminate the resulting automatic, learned, and advanced developmental challenges.
It is like building a house on an unstable foundation. You have to have the foundation in order to build a stable house. Read more here.
Who can be trained?
The MRNI® Method has attracted healthcare, wellness, and educational professionals from a wide range of specialties, including physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, special and physical education, sports medicine, audiology, pediatrics, psychology, social work and general medicine.
Many of these Professionals work daily with autism, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, pain management, and learning disorders to name just a few. often speak of frustration that traditional therapies are quite often partial solutions and they are in search of therapies and techniques that can make more of a difference for their clients (and frequently for their children or themselves).

Family Conferences
What is a Family Conference?
The Masgutova Foundation offers 4, 5 or 8 Day Family Conferences in different parts of the country.
During this conference you will receive training from Dr. Masgutova and other MNRI Core Specialists with techniques that will benefit the development of your child/individual enrolled.
Your child will receive an initial assessment by Dr. Masgutova which will identify Priority one, two and three reflexes that need to be addressed. This assessment will be done on the first 2 days of the Conference. These priorities will be communicated to the Specialists working with your child.
Your child will receive 6 hours of treatment per day performed by trained Core Specialists. The Specialists will teach you priority one and two exercises to do when you get home for your Home Program that will be given to you at the end of the conference.
What is a day at a conference like?
Treatment and Education starts at 9:00 AM. Following is the schedule for the day: 9:00 - 9:50 - Treatment Session 9:50 - 10:00 Break 10:00 - 10:50 - Treatment Session 10:50 - 11:10 - 20 minute break 11:10 - 12:00 - Treatment Session 12:00 - 1:30 - Lunch Break 1:30 - 2:20 - Treatment Session 2:20 - 2:30 - Break 2:30 - 3:20 - Treatment Session 3:20 - 3:40 - 20 minute break 3:40 - 4:30 - Treatment Session At 4:45 there are Parent sessions with Core Specialist for about 45 minutes. Child care is not provided but they are welcome to attend.
What do the sessions look like?
The majority of sessions are done in individual rooms for the privacy of the individual. A few of our sessions are done in large rooms with 2 or 3 other clients as we do see a difference in behavior which can help promote growth.
The Specialist will work with you and your child/individual on techniques that address the corresponding behavioral deficit.
*We do not allow any video recording or electronic devices to best enhance the effectiveness of the session.
What if my child is not willing to participate?
Our Specialists are very used to working with children that may not be compliant. They may do the work with them on the floor, take them out of the room or even go outside for the session.
We will immediately stop a session if there is any violence. Parents will be asked to escort their children off of the premises if violent behavior continues.
Is there anyone I can speak with who has been to a conference?
Yes! We have dedicated Parent Advocates who have attended several conferences. They will be more than happy to connect with you and answer any questions you may have. Contact Now
Why are there more days listed for the dates of the conference than the number of actual Conference days?
The first day listed is for Registration and Opening Ceremony. Attendance at the Opening Ceremony is not required but highly suggested. The Opening Ceremony is a celebration welcoming all attendees and an introduction to the team and specialists. Please note that the sessions start sharply at 9:00 AM on the morning following the Opening Ceremony.
If registering for an 8 day Family Conference, is there a day off between the first four days and last four days?
Yes, if you attend an 8 day Family Conference, you will have 4 days of sessions, one day off and then another 4 days of sessions. Please note that with an 8 day Family Conference you can register for the first 4 days, the last 4 days or the entire 8 days.
Is Food and Lodging included with the Conference Fee?
A Gluten free, casein free and dairy free buffet is included each day for lunch.
Lodging is not included but we have an arrangement with several nearby hotels for reduced lodging. Contact Us for more information.
