The Landau Reflex is called a reflex of joy and happiness. This reflex develops the motor control of the back of the body and the relationship of horizontal and vertical perspectives of the body. Through postural control, it activates spatial three-dimensional vision, and binaural hearing. It affects the differentiation of spinal motions to stimulate neck muscle tone, the extensor muscles of the arms and forearms, and also the muscles of the back and legs.
