MNRI®: Hands Pulling Reflex

Streaming Media › 365 day online viewing access

The Hands Pulling Reflex becomes a part of the pattern of pulling and flexing the hands in an attempt to sit or stand up. It helps the infant to develop the skills of holding and manipulating objects in their hands, bringing something to their mouth, throwing, changing objects from hand to hand, and so on. This reflex supports the functioning and development of the medium- and fine-motor coordination for manual skills. This helps with the development of the infant’s cognitive skills. Video Runtime: 8 minutes, 55 seconds.
