MNRI® Oral-Facial Motor Education Clinic
This is a highly specialized educational clinic for infants and children struggling with the development of oral motor functions. Developmentally expected oral motor functions include breathing, swallowing, eating, facial expressions, and talking. Proper development of the oral motor functions is an essential basis for cognition and learning. Children who may benefit from this specialized educational clinic include those with limited eating skills, feeding tube dependency, and/or delayed communication development.
MNRI® Oral-Facial Motor Education Clinic is a four-day event, offering each participant three sessions per day. Participants will receive fundamental MNRI® exercises designed to restore and facilitate maturation of primary reflexes to support development of oral-motor function. Registration costs $4,600 and is to be paid through SMEI. A registration link and access code will be provided by the Local Area Coordinator Alene Scoblete. (Alene@SpeechUnlimitedNJ.com).
To receive daily specialized Oral-Facial Reflex Integration exercises together with Oral Motor Specific learning activities, parents are offered the option of registering an additional hour with Yichien Su, MS CCC SLP. Yichien Su is a MNRI® Core specialist and a NJ licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in pediatric feeding disorders. Yichien Su will provide one individualized daily session for each child who elects to see her during this specialty clinic at $350 per hour to be paid directly to Speech Unlimited LLC.
Due to Yichien’s limited availability, registrants who cannot get scheduled with Yichien may add one session of Oral Function per day with one of the other therapists for an additional $295 per session, payable to SMEI in a link separate from the original SMEI link.
An MNRI® Reflex Assessment with Dr. Masgutova can be requested at an additional fee of $750 payable to SMEI and requires a separate registration.

SMEI Cancellation and Refund Policy
MNRI Family Conferences are staffed by a diverse field of professionals who have been certified as Core Specialists. Many of these professionals run their own practice in addition to assisting us. As such, some conferences may have a limited number of staff.
In order to provide the best service possible for our families, we limit the ratio of Client to Specialist to 1|1.
With our desire to maintain a high level of service, cancellation of registrants may occur if there are not enough Staff. Registrants will be informed of this 10 days before the event takes place. If SMEI is forced to cancel any registrants, a full refund of the conference fees will be given. Cancellations will be offered first on a voluntary basis. If there are not enough volunteers, cancellation protocol will be enacted starting with the most recent registrants.
Full refunds will be given for registration cancellation up to 21 days prior to the conference.
A 25% administration charge will be retained for cancellation 11-20 days prior to the conference.
Cancellation within 10 days of the conference is non-refundable due to the financial commitments that the organization has made to hotels, travel expenses and salaries of Core Specialists from around the world.
We recommend that attendees who will be flying do not purchase their flight until after the 10-day window has elapsed to avoid a nonrefundable circumstance with the airline. SMEI is not liable for any ticket costs related to the course being canceled. SMEI is not liable for any costs related to transportation (airline tickets, train, taxi, etc) due to the cancellation of an event.
* A 2.5% transaction fee (processing fee) will be withheld on all refunds that were processed using credit card/PayPal. If a participant wishes the refund to be paid directly to their account via credit card/PayPal, PayPal may also charge the participant an additional 2.5% transaction fee (processing fee). Refund by check is available upon request.
